My lesson plan for this evening was 15th Century dances and a 16th century dance. These dances are on the CF ball list.

I think next week I will attempt to teach some of the basse dance and some other 15th Century
Since Katherina Weyssin is away - I have been asked to teach dance for the next two weeks.

Unfortunately for one reason or another (mostly due to winter colds) several kind gentles contacted me before dance to advise that they were unable to attend.
So it was a good chance for Catrine and I to go over some of the dances we have learnt in the advanced class.
We did several run throughs of Ginevra, a bassedanse reconstructed by Katherina.

During the Open/beginners hour we did Earl of Essex Alleymane, Lorrayne Almain, Madam Sosilia's Pavan, Black Almain, Amoroso and Petite Riense.

Warm-up: Walking and then using the piva step in time to the music from Gelosia
We have started a new format at Thursday night dance classes. from 7.30pm to 8.25pm is an Open/Beginners session. During this 55 minute slot dances are taught that will suit the level of those that are attending.
