Re-using material from this website

Current copyright policy

Individual contributors own the copyright to the material they contribute to the website. Assume that all rights are reserved (unless there's an explicit statement to the contrary on a given page) but that reasonable requests to re-use material are likely to be successful, in almost every case.

If you wish to re-use any content, please contact the webwright (Ian Piddingtonweb@ildhafn.lochac.sca.org). In most cases, the webwright will be able to put you in touch with the person who created the section you are interested in, and whose permission you should ask.

New policy

We are in the process of drafting a more permissive policy for re-use: site-wide use of a Creative Commons license. Updates will appear here, as we reach decisions.

If you have contributed content to the site in the past: you will be consulted, and your permission sought, before widespread persmission to re-use your work is granted. No rights will be given away without your consent.

Our use of material owned by others

All contributors to this website are expected to respect others' intellectual property. If you believe copyright has been breached on this website, please contact the webwright, Ian Piddington (web@ildhafn.lochac.sca.org), immediately.

How do I get a login?

Email the webminister and ask.

Different members have differing levels of access (for instance, there are some things that only the Seneschal, or the Webwright, may do) but all members of the Barony of Ildhafn may contribute.

Who else might have a login?

Any member of the Barony of Ildhafn, and some others who have some reason to wish to contribute or participate from further away.
