As promised, sins were indeed engaged in at the St Cayetano's Revel just past, most noticeable among these being avarice, gambling, and theft - with an hefty helping of gluttony thrown in for good measure.

In 1480, in Vincenza, a babe was born . His name was Gaetano dei Conti di Tiene: this child grew to a man , and this man became a Saint, a patron saint to . . . Gamblers.  
St Cayetano would love to save us from the Sin of gambling, but you can't be saved from a sin if you never start.
