Minutes of the Previous Meeting: We can't approve the minutes as I was the only one at both this meeting and that one.
Reports: This month covered by quarterly reports.
Chatelaine (Nicola): Can we please add a deadline to event advertisements for requesting gear from the Chatelaine? Also, a great deal of loaner feast gear was been "reclaimed" as lost property at Crown.
Seneschal / Matters Arising:
I have advertised the Reeve position. Deadline is Saturday 6th of June.
Past Events
May Crown (Katherine and David): Postponed till next month.
Upcoming Events
Bloth (Nadia): Seven bookings so far. Bookings close on the Wednesday beforehand. I will need platters and serving implements, table cloths, banners.
Shannon's Work Do (Shannon W): I want to hire equipment for work function. Committee agrees on condition there is a written contract. Shannon will try to organise helpers and display in exchange for payment to the Barony. Possibility of buying back feast gear.
Perhaps this event might motivate the purchase of an extra box of plates?
Collegium (Shannon): Tentative idea for a collegium in Sept-Oct.
Patrick - We need some events for the second half of the year.
Future Events
Shannon via Angela: Shannon's work social club putting on a feast. She would like to hire our gear (~$300), opportunity for the Barony to earn $1000 if members help with the function. Probable date is 25th of July.
Calendar: Nothing conflicting with (new) regular A&S rotation.
Other Business:
Fencing (Patrick): It was agreed some time ago that as the Barony runs weekly fencing practice, its finances should be run the same as any other Baronial event. It is decided to resolve the finances monthly, so that the Barony pays the monthly fee to Central Dance, and the collected fees (currently $10 per week per person) is deposited into the bank account monthly.
Plates (Shannon): On the question of buying more plates, it is resolved to defer discussion to the Council list.
