Saturday night's ball was a wonderful event - thanks to all who assisted and participated.
As is becoming our custom for smaller balls, the Herald (Ludwig, also the steward) asked each of us in turn to choose a dance.
The dances, in roughly the right order, were:
- Ginevra, danced twice
- Amoroso
- Lauro
- Bella Gioiosa
- the Black Almain
- Petit Riens
- Il Conto del Orco
- Triory
- the Earl of Essex Measure
- Pungente Dardo
- Spagnoletta in due
- Spagnoletta Nuova, for three
- Ly Bens Distonys
- Contentezza d'Amore
- Prenes on Gre
- Scots branles
- Anello
- Rostiboli Gioioso
- La Figlia de Guglielmino, danced twice
- Lioncello Vecchio
- Pavaniglia
- La Caccia d'Amore, the Chase and then the Wheel
