OFFICER REPORTS

Herald: Request for approx $25 to go towards Barlow – a German names book. Astrolabe Herald will pay other half of costs. Agreed.

Arts & Sciences: Nothing new to report.

Constable & Archery: Looking for replacements for these positions. Has posted to the list about this.

College: Everything sorted for Frostbane Festival. Details to be advertised soon. Looking at organising a combat training day for the college.

Baron & Baroness: Royal visit – July 14th – 16th.

Staying with B&B. Need to organise an event of some sort on the Saturday. Volunteers & ideas required. Baronial rings – have been made but we haven't heard anything more from Kingdom about it.

We will discuss further if/when official documentation received.

Rapier: Occasional trainings on Sundays. Having trouble finding somewhere indoors to train at a reasonable cost.

David still looking. Matt has given David fibreglass rapier blades; workshop to be organised to get these finished.

Heavy: Similar problem to Rapier – too dark & damp to train in park and St George hall not suitable due to rafters. Will be reinstating Sunday trainings – 2pm @ Cornwall Park after Rapier. Possibility of changing venues – the Domain or Albert Park suggested. Alex to check on Sunday parking costs on Princess St.

Chatelaine: Have advised Zara that she has been accepted as Chatelaine.

Fighting compulsory. Wendy to book Avondale Lions Hall & ask Andrew if he will cook feast. Derek is going to look at alternative venues. College will think about entertainments.
