===============

Seneschal (David)

---------

Attended the demos held at Auckland University during Orientation week. All in all a very successful exercise, as we recruited enough members to get a group up and running at the University.

Attended several meetings of the Auckland University Medieval Guild, did a talk about mens clothing.

Attended Southron Gaard Baronial Anniversary.

Met up with Gary and signed various cheques.

Need deputy Reeve, to assist Gary with duties and possibly take over as Reeve. Applications to David or Gary.

Need deputy marshal in Auckland with specific duties to include collection of money for authorisation cards.

Banners are now mostly complete. The second one is being delivered to Anne to assemble before Festival.

Fencing (David)

-------

Looking for a replacement. Applications to David.

Herald (Phil)

------

Has a submission to put in for Wendy. Wendy to pay for this later.

Have approached their Majesties regarding heralding duties at Coronation.

Dame Alys is stepping down as Astrolabe (NZ) Herald.

Ran a class on heraldry at the University Guild, many keen people who want names and devices.

Will be at Festival and doing heraldy things there.

Clickable map of Lochac now on the sca.org.au website: http://sca.org.au/lochac/groups/map.html

Will be looking at revisiting the Augmentation question again shortly.

Archery (Nick)

-------

Attended St Sebastians. The event happened, a champion was selected although Nick had to depart before the results were announced. - Phil reports that Simon of Cluain was the victor.

Currently waiting for membership of the Massey Archery Club to be approved. Looking to hold regular archery practice there.

There is a need for some loaner equipment - armguards, gloves, fingertabs and maybe even bows.

ACTION - Nick to talk to Derek about making loaner equipment.

We now require target archery marshals to be authorised. Can all active archers please ensure they get themselves authorised as a target archery marshal.

ACTION - Nick to confirm if archers need to be authorised as well.

Constable (Nick)

---------

Spent 4-5 hours looking at photogallery websites. David pointed out that one is available on the current Ildhafn site, it just requires linking into the main website.

ACTION - Kelsie to update the website to include the gallery.

Coronation site is going to be open to the public, will be requiring additional deputies for the weekend to help patrol.

Chatelaine (Wendy)

----------

Attending AUMG meetings.

At the last A&S night, several new people showed up.

Need to replace the posters in various places, including the Medieval Shop.

ACTION - Wendy to get posters from Kelsie

Answering queries on the mailing list from potential members.

A&S (Michaela)

---

Bridget J has been in contact, the proposed May A&S event will now be held in September.

Have made a list of garb sites after a discussion about it at the University Guild meeting. Would be interested in compiling pages of links for any other topics.

Some discussion with Alex of the Uni group about holding a Masque a Coronation.

Phase 1 of "Getting People to do Stuff" is progressing well. The next phase will involve ringing people directly.
