Officer reports

===============

Seneschal (David)

---------

Delivered a letter and map from the Baron and Baroness of Southron Gaard to the Ildhafn Baron and Baroness.

Have been contacted by someone looking for assistance with a Viking/Roman school event. Karen volunteered to help coordiate.

*** New edict regarding event reporting:

Event stewards must have a report to Council at the meeting held for the month month after the event. This report does not have to be a final report (although it would be nice if it was), but must contain preliminary figures as well as a list of outstanding items.

Final reports must be handed in to Council within 3 months of the event unless Council has agreed to allow an extension.

A&S (Michaela)

---

Things are quiet at present.

Michaela is interested in possibly directing/producing a play at St Catherines Faire.

Herald (Phil)

------

Wakeline (Crux Herald) confirms that the Cluain submission has been sent off to Laurel.

Cluain has asked for heraldic assistance in the event of their bid for Coronation being accepted.

Constable (Nick)

---------

Need to contact Barrett to get hold of lost property.

Karen to give the group property she has to Nick.

Archery (Nick)

-------

Checking out the Massey archery club - has an indoor range, but outdoor isn't as suitable as would be desirable.

Will look at costs for making targets.

Marshal (Ross)

-------

Have stepped up as Marshal. Still to pick up paperwork from Matt.

Chatelaine (Karen)

----------

Went to some events.

University club is growing slowly.

Lists (Karen)

-----

2 tournaments were scheduled, only one happened.

Need people to send Karen any lists they have from previous events (St Georges, may be others as well) so that they can be submitted.

Baroness (Kelsie)

--------

Next challenge will probably be an archery contest. Details to be announced.

Web (Kelsie)

---

St Catherines website to go online soon, as well as the A&S Competition results.

Events

======

St Catherines Faire

- Fliers have been sent to Cluain, Darton, and Southron Gaard.

- A "bring a friend" rebate was approved, allowing a $10 credit for bringing along a new person (must stay overnight, only one credit per person)

- Day tripping price set at $5.

- Pricing split point for infant/child/adult discussed, with further discussion to take place after the meeting on the mailing list. Final prices to be put on website ASAP.

- The Council is willing to consider hardship cases for any individuals or families who find event prices prohibitive to their attendance. Please contact David Robb (Seneschal) or the event steward.

General Business

================

Does anyone know the location of the Baronial "Tournaments Illuminated" collection?

Please contact David if you have these, or any of the books from the Baronial library so that the library can be audited.

David is considering holding a BBQ lunch and discussion afternoon to moot possible directions for the Barony, and to provide a forum for people to present ideas. Details to be announced.
