Wednesday Singing - Songs for four voices

Wednesday March 26th - what we did

As I me walked

We refreshed this, using all four "verses". As usual, that made it a lot harder.

Laudate

Coming along very nicely indeed. Timing this week was spot-on, and tuning much improved.

La Sirena

Started with just the three inner lines, then added the soprano. Coming along well.

We're typically singing the first verse twice through; next week we'll try the second verse.

We had a longer break than usual, listening to various pieces to decide what to do next.

Plans for next time

  • Spendends Ceptigera - refresh, as warmup
  • Laudate - quick run through, then mostly retire this to the pile of things we know
  • La Sirena - start with inner lines again, add outer parts; try second verse
  • Ave vera Virginitas - start work on this

Present
