Sounding good!

As is currently tradition, we opened the practice with a few decent rounds of Jubilate Deo.

This was followed up by some very nice renditions of Alle Psallite - we're all becoming much more solid in our knowledge of this piece, which is awesome as everyone really likes it! Caterine de Vantier took the top line, Eleanor Hall the middle, and William de Cameron and Emrys Twdr the base, with Katherina Weyssin shifting between the upper two lines and acting as conductor.

Then we went onto Contrapunto Bestiale with exactly the right combination of people to have one person per line - Caterine on first Soprano, Eleanor on second Soprano, Katherina on Alto, William on Tenor, Emrys on Base.

We sang several times through Lauda, in various combinations.

Rodrigo Martinez was up next, with all the ladies taking the top line and the gentlemen the bottom line.

At William's daughter's suggestion, we sang Laudemus Virginem - first in unison and then splitting into parts.

We finished with a round of As I Me Walked, definitely wearing ourselves out, but having a lot of fun!

Today's music-video interludes from Youtube were Alle psallite and the Contrapunto Bestiale.
