Today we had Lady Ginevra Isabella da Serafino Visconti visiting from Southron Gaard. She is up visiting for just over a week, and came along to mingle with the fine company that regularly attend. Catalina took the time to show her how she works stem stitch, and they were able to chat about embroidery techniques for some time.

I worked at putting the cuffs onto a new shirt, making slow progress but enjoying chatting with everyone. William de Wyck likewise found the progress on his lace sampler slow going for the same reason - of course, he was also paying great attention to working it as neatly as possible!

Isabel had brought along a new book that she'd been working on, and was able to talk with William about the improvement the new brass she was using had made to the construction of the book clasp.

It was lovely to see Emrys and Beatriz for a little while, and Emrys was able to show us his super new Helmet Cam device - with actual recordings from the perspective of the person wearing it while fencing!
