5th December 2016

Present:

Sympkyn of the Moor, hammered dulcimer
Katherine of Glastonbury, harp
Emrys Tudor, violin and viola
Katherina Weyssin, tenor and bass recorder
William de Cameron, tenor recorder
Elena Harper, rebec and bray harp
Yvonne Gywnn, various recorders

Tunes played:

Tonight very much became bransle night... our new set comprising:
- Washerwomans bransle
- Pinagay
- Scottish bransle

Discovered that there are a couple of different versions of Washerwoman's bransle floating about, so we spent a bit of time on a 'compare and contrast' session. Nothing concrete decided yet but it tentatively seems that both versions could be compatible - at some point I will investigate this further - again this may be a new year project.

Successfully played the whole set by the end of the night, twice through each tune and straight into the next without pause.
